The Perry Street Apartments at 1504 Perry Street were originally built in 1946. After years of sitting vacant, the 16 unit apartment complex is in the process of being renovated and put back into use.

Save Dancy LLC. continues to restore Dancy Terrace’s 24 historic bungalow houses. Dancy Terrace is located just east of Main Street between 9th and 10th Streets.

37. Ten-Marko Apartments

Ardent Springfield LLC is in the process of rehabilitating the historic Ten-Marko Apartments complex at 2004 North Market Street. The three building, 12-unit apartment complex was originally constructed in 1928.

38. Dr. Horace Drew Mansion

245 West 3rd ST LLC is in the process of restoring the Dr. Horace Drew mansion overlooking Klutho Park at 245 West 3rd Street.

39. 1637 Main Street

1637 Main Street LLC is in the process of restoring a 9,600 square foot mixed-use building at 1637 Main Street. Located near the intersection of 7th & Main, the renovation project will result in nine apartments and three ground floor retail spaces.

40. The Dreamette

The Dreamette Ice Cream will be opening a new ice cream shop at 1401 North Main Street. Adjacent to Fred Cotten’s Landmark BBQ, the shop will be located in a former service station.

41. Centennial Towers

The Jacksonville Housing Authority is in the process of renovating all 208 apartments in the 14-storyCentennial Towers building on East 1st Street at a cost of about $14.5 million. The work is being done three floors at a time. Plans call for new appliances, plumbing and air conditioning as well as electrical system upgrades.

42. Historically Hoppy Brewing Company

Historically Hoppy Brewing Co. will be opening this month at the former Main & Six Brewing location at 1636 Main Street.

43. CAMP Craft Cocktails

CAMP Craft Cocktails will be opening soon at 101 East 8th Street, former site of the Red Sea Food Store. The building is under renovation now. CAMP started out as a small mom & pop venture by a couple of Springfield residents. Today, their products are sold nationwide.
