Located near the Arlington Expressway, Southside Boulevard and Atlantic Boulevard, thousands of drivers pass by the North Florida School of Special Education on a daily basis without recognizing the fascinating space. Established in 1992, the North Florida School of Special Education serves students with intellectual and developmental differences between the ages of 6 and 22. The school also offers a Postgraduate program for young adults between the ages of 22 to 40. Recently we had the opportunity to volunteer at the school's Anderson Smith Campus on Mill Creek Road.
