Between West Bay to Bay Boulevard and South Howard Avenue, Bayshore Boulevard travels through the neighborhood of Bayshore Gardens. Sandwiched between Bayshore Boulevard and the Lee Roy Selmon Expressway, Bayshore Boulevard is home to several condominium buildings, apartment complexes and Fred Ball Park.

South Howard Avenue to the Carl D. Brorein Bridge

South Rome Avenue through Hyde Park Village. Hyde Park Village is roughly four blocks north of Bayshore Boulevard.

Between South Howard Avenue and the Carl D. Brorein Bridge, Bayshore Boulevard travels through the neighborhood of Hyde Park. Hyde Park dates back to the 1880s when Henry B. Plant built the first bridge across the Hillsborough River. Hyde Park witnessed rapid growth following the installation of a streetcar line through the neighborhood in the early 20th century. Designated to the National Register of Historic Places as a historic district in 1985, Hyde Park is known for its historic residential architecture, trendy restaurants, bars and urban shopping district.
