30. St. Michael The Archangel Catholic Church

2049 North Laura Street is in the process of be restored into the St. Michael The Archangel Catholic Church. The sanctuary was originally constructed in 1923 for the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

31. 1637 Main Street

1637 Main Street LLC is in the process of restoring a 9,600 square foot mixed-use building at 1637 Main Street. Located near the intersection of 7th & Main, the renovation project will result in nine apartments and three ground floor retail spaces.

32. CAMP Craft Cocktails

CAMP Craft Cocktails is in the process of renovating the former Red Sea Food Store at 101 East 8th Street. CAMP started out as a small mom & pop venture by a couple of Springfield residents. Today, their products are sold nationwide.

33. Tulua Bistro

Tulua Bistro, a Jacksonville Beach eatery known for its breakfast boards, chicken & waffles and crepes is headed to Springfield. Owner and new Springfield resident Joey Brown plans to open a second Tulua Bistro location, with 300-seats at 1703 North Main Street.

34. 7th and Hubbard

Demolition is underway on the former Quality Foods supermarket at 27 East 7th Street. Future plans by ELEV8 are for the property to be redeveloped into a mixed-use complex that could include 200 residential units, 12,000-square feet of retail and a 20,000-square-foot grocery store.

35. Perry Street Apartments

The Perry Street Apartments at 1504 Perry Street were originally built in 1946. After years of sitting vacant, the 16-unit apartment complex is in the process of being renovated and put back into use.

36. Corner on Main

The Corner on Main is a mixed-use project that will include 201 market-rate apartments and retail space. Being developed by the Corner Lot Development Group, the $55 million project is being built adjacent to Jacksonville’s first Chevrolet dealership building at the intersection of First and Main streets in Springfield. When complete, the development will comprise 54 studio, 131 one-bedroom, 16 two-bedroom units, 5,184-square-feet of retail space will be constructed at the intersection of Second and Main streets. In addition, Petra Management will preserve the adjacent 12,377-square-foot former Chevrolet dealership built in 1929, into commercial use. The project is expected to be completed in summer 2025.
