31. The San Jose Episcopal Church building was originally the adminstration building for San Jose Estates during the mid-1920s.

38. Despite original intentions of being a self sustaining community, San Jose failed to develop a significant amount of commercial uses. However, a small commercial zone of activity did develop east of the original community, in the vicinity of the intersection of St. Augustine Road and Old Kings Road.
