From Friday to Sunday May 19-21, Riverside’s newest bar will be holding their grand opening. As part of the festivities, the Jaxson team will host a free Jacksonville-themed trivia night at the bar at 7 pm Sunday, May 21.

The Dart Bar is a new craft beer bar with a focus on bar games (yes, including darts). Located at 1261 King Street, the building has been home to a number of businesses over the years, serving as the former headquarters of Jacksonville Magazine. Longtimers will remember it as the site of the legendary Art Bar. Following a cold opening in February, the Dart Bar is hosting a variety of events for this weekend’s grand opening. Other events include Burlesque and Beer on Friday night, a maker’s market and music on Saturday and ax throwing on Sunday. For the full list, check them out on Facebook and Instagram.

Jacksonville trivia night at the Dart Bar is free, but make sure you’ll have a spot by registering early on Eventbrite. The Jaxson is taking a few months off from our usual daytime walking tours (it’s, getting really hot, y’all), but fear not, our Jacksonville trivia night will be the first of our slate of less sweaty events. Also on the books is our LGBTQ Jax History bike tour, which will be hosted by The Jaxson’s Mike Field and Steph Morse of the St. Johns Riverkeeper on Saturday, June 17.
