16. Ravella at Town Center

Ravella at Town Center will be a 305-unit apartment complex near St. John’s Town Center. A development of Stanmore Partners and Preferred Growth Properties, this 6.6 acre plot will house several 4-story buildings that will center around a 452-space, 7-story parking garage for its residents. Units will include wood flooring, granite counter tops, under-cabinet lighting, appliances, as well as a latte lounge, game room, and fitness area in the clubhouse.

17. Hyatt Place Hotel

Construction continues on the development of a 160-room, 91,357 square foot Hyatt Place Hotel at The Strand at Town Center mixed-use development along Town Center Parkway. A brand of Chicago-based Hyatt Hotels Corp., Hyatt Place is created for “multi-blenders with 24/7 lifestyles seeking a select-service hotel that will allow them to balance work and play.”

18. Domo

Orlando-based ramen restaurant, Domu, is in the process of opening its first location in Jacksonville at The Strand at Town Center. The new 2,700 square foot restaurant will feature 60 dining room seats, 20 seats in the bar and another 16 on the outdoor patio at 4852 Town Center Parkway.

19. XL Soccer World Jax

Land clearing efforts are underway at 7311 Baymeadows Way for XL Soccer World. The $5 million project is intended to become a 50,000 square foot indoor soccer facility featuring two 6x6 turf soccer fields and fields for futsal.

20. Bay95 Shopping Center

A new 14,400 square foot shopping center is nearing completion at the intersection of Baymeadows Road East and R.G. Skinner Parkway. Called Bay95, the project is being developed by Property Theater, LLC.

21. Ciel Apartments

Construction continues on WRH Deerwood LLC’s 400-unit Ciel Apartments on 16.6 acres at the northeast quadrant of Butler and Southside Boulevards. Located on Deer Lake Drive, the development will contain 232 one-bedroom, 144 two-bedroom and 24 three-bedroom units.

22. Inspired Living of Jacksonville

Inspired Living of Jacksonville, a $22 million senior housing center is construction at 10776 Burnt Mill Road. Being built on 24.12 acres, the Senior Living VII, LLC project is designed with 43 memory care units and 109 assisted living units in a 127,234-square-foot building.

23. Gateway Village at Town Center

Construction is underway on a mixed-use development by Cantrell & Morgan. Called Gateway Village at Town Center, the project is located on an 18.5 acre site at the intersection of Gate Parkway and Deerwood Park Boulevard. When fully built out, the $75 million Gateway Village at Town Center project will include a 289-unit luxury apartment complex, a Racetrac gas station/convenience store, an urgent care facility and over 38,000 square feet of retail uses.

24. Cypress Plaza Business Warehouses

32.63 acres owned by Cypress Plaza Properties, Inc. is in the process of being developed for business warehouses. The site is located between Philips Highway and Baymeadows Way, just south of Cypress Plaza Drive.

25. Hampton Village

Ash Properties intends to construct a mixed-use office/retail development at I-295 East Beltway and Gate Parkway. Ash plans to break ground on the first two-story retail/office building in the first of the year. A six-story office building with a ground floor destination restaurant and rooftop bar will serve as the development’s main structure. Construction won’t begin on this building until it’s 50% leased. In addition, a parking garage with retail on the ground floor will be included on the site. The final phase will include a fourth building featuring 80,000 square feet of space.
