Six major projects currently underway at the beaches

6. Element by Westin

Shivam Properties II LLC is in the process of building a $10 million Element by Westin hotel at the southeast corner of 3rd Street and Beach Boulevard in Jacksonville Beach. Located a 7 South 3rd Street, the three story building will include 80-rooms and 80 off-street parking spaces. The project’s anticipated completion date should take place in mid to late 2020.

5. Margaritaville Hotel

Vertical construction continues on a new Margaritaville Hotel along 1st Street North between 6th Avenue and 7th Avenue. Developed by Margaritaville Holdings, the eight story, 202 room oceanfront hotel will include a two-story LandShark Bar & Grill, observation deck, coffee shop, fitness center and meeting/event space. Breaking ground on March 8, 2019, construction on the project is estimated to take 18 to 24 months.
