City Creek Center

Anchored by national department stores Nordstrom and Macy’s, the City Creek Center is a 700,000 square foot shopping mall in the heart of downtown that opened on March 22, 2012. Owned by the commercial real estate division of the Corporation of the President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) and Taubman Centers, Inc., the 20-acre project is known for its award winning retractable roof. Catering to pedestrian traffic, the mixed use project is a part of an estimated $5 billion sustainable design project intended to revitalize downtown Salt Lake City.
