The Bonstelle Theatre building was originally constructed in 1902 as the Temple Beth-El.

The Garden Theater opened in 1912 as a one screen, 900 seat theater designed by C. Howard Crane. In 2013, the building reopened as a mixed use event venue.

Designed by C. Howard Crane, the Majestic Theatre was the largest theatre in the world built for the purpose of showing movies when it opened its doors in 1915. Today, the theatre is primarily used as a music venue.

The Garden Bowl is the oldest continuously operating bowling alley in the country. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

Built in 1894, the David Whitney, Jr. House is a historic mansion that has been restored into a restaurant. It was was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

Completed in 2008, Studio One Apartments was the first major market-rate residential project on its kind in Detroit in more than three decades. The project is located on the site of the former Vernors ginger ale factory.

The Garfield Building was built in 1908 as the Edwin S. George Building. In 2000, the building was converted into the Garfield Lofts condominiums.

Founded by Julia Reyes Taubman in 2006, the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MOCAD) occupies a former auto dealership.

Built in 1891, First Congregational Church of Detroit was designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1974 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The Hannan Center is a four story, 45,000 square senior residence on Woodward Avenue.

The Wayne State University Press (WSU Press) building. The WSU Press publishes under its own name and also the imprints Painted Turtle and Great Lakes Books Series.

Completed in 1908, the Cathedral Church of St. Paul building was designed by architect Ralph Adams Cram.

With nearly 25,000 graduate and undergraduate students, Wayne State University (WSU) is the third-largest university in Michigan. Founded in 1868, WSU’s main campus in Midtown comprises 203 acres.

Woodward | Warren Park is a two-acre greenspace that opened in 2019. $100,000 was raised for the improvements as part of an ongoing effort by WSU to create a vibrant campus that embraces the community that surrounds it.
