Hotel Indigo

By the end of 2019, the former Life of the South building at 100 West Bay Street could become downtown’s first boutique hotel to open. Plans call for the seven story office building to be converted into an 89-room Hotel Indigo, a rooftop restaurant/bar, a ground-floor restaurant and bar and some retail space. Construction to start and be completed in 2019.

Hyatt Place

A new nine-story Hyatt Place hotel could break ground as early as the first quarter of 2019. Located at the intersection of Hogan and Water streets, the 128-room hotel will include a rooftop bar and event space overlooking the St. Johns River. In addition, an outdoor pool for hotel guests will be located on the second floor.

Brooklyn Place

In November, development plans were filed for the Brooklyn Place retail project at the southwest corner of Leila Street and Riverside Avenue in Brooklyn. The project will add 12,500 square-feet of space for retailers and restaurants when it’s completed by Summer 2019.
