Sights and scenes from the Black History Parade and most recent The Melanin Market event held on A. Philip Randolph Boulevard in Jacksonville's Eastside neighborhood. Founded by Dawn Curling and Angie Nixon in 2017, the Melanin Market's mission is to create a platform that highlights minority-owned businesses' products and services and provides a setting for fellowship with customers and the community. The Melanin Market also offers workshops and a series of community events, exhibits, and volunteer projects with their Eastside community leaders and partners.
