This week, the Downtown Development Review Board (DDRB) will review conceptual plans for a mixed-use infill project proposed for Downtown Jacksonville’s Cathedral District. Located at the intersection of East Duval Street and Washington Street, Arkest LLC plans transform a 3/4-acre site with century old housing into a new building with 45 residential units and 26,500 square feet of retail space which would include an art incubator. The tentative development timeline for the project indicates construction starting in the first quarter of 2020, with completion in the third quarter of 2021. Here is a look at conceptual plans for the project submitted for DDRB conceptual review and approval.
