In addition, this week it delayed plans for a $538 million IPO, stating a number of alternative financing sources had become available, allowing it to keep the company private while meeting growth strategies.

On Thursday, February 28, the Jax Chamber will host an event to learn about the express intercity rail system developed and operated by All Aboard Florida, a subsidiary of Florida East Coast Industries and Virgin Group.

The keynote speaker will be Brightline’s Vice President of Government Affairs, Bob O’Malley. He recently joined the company after serving 10 years as the regional vice president of government affairs for CSX Transportation.
