GENERAL INFORMATION
Application 2026-003 seeks conceptual approval for a housing development serving the elderly. The project encompasses approximately 500,000 square feet and includes 239 residential units, 40 licensed care units, and a variety of resident amenities.
The subject property is located on the site of the former Haskell headquarters in the Brooklyn District and fronts Riverside Avenue (see Exhibit 1). Riverside Avenue functions as a primary east–west corridor within the Brooklyn District and provides direct connections to the Downtown core and the regional highway network. The parcel extends south toward the St. Johns River and is adjacent to the Riverwalk.
The surrounding area includes a mix of residential and commercial uses. Nearby properties include the Winston Family YMCA, Vista Brooklyn Apartments, retail uses within the Brooklyn Shoppes, and the One Riverside development.
