Downtown's Liberty Street road diet project underway

Included in the Downtown Investment Authority’s Illustrative Master Plan, the Liberty Street road diet project is now underway. A long time four-lane road, Liberty Street is being modified into a corridor that will feature dedicated space for bicyclists using the thoroughfare as a connection between the Northbank Riverwalk and Historic Springfield.
