Interested in the future of Jacksonville’s Riverfront? The Jessie Ball duPont Fund and DVDL invite all Jacksonville residents, and others interested in what it will take to create programs and activities along the St. Johns River, are invited to participate in a virtual public meeting at 5:30 p.m. on May 20.

Jacksonville is blessed with acres of riverfront land downtown but lacks a comprehensive activation plan for programming this space for all types of activities and improving access for all residents and visitors. The Jessie Ball duPont Fund is collaborating with DVDL, an agency of cultural forecasters; WXY, a New York-based design and planning firm; and Groundwork Jacksonville to create a Riverfront Activation Plan that benefits all residents and visitors.

In this meeting, all residents of Jacksonville are invited to hear about the project plan and ways to get involved in the process. Along with stakeholder and community meetings, your input will inform the development of a robust Activation Plan for Jacksonville’s waterfront spaces. This plan is not only for all residents and visitors but by all residents and communities here.

Register here to receive the meeting details.
