DDRB Application 2019-012 seeks Conceptual approval for 220,000 square feet office building, an 850 space parking deck with 8,500 square feet of ground floor retail. The site is currently vacant, being utilized as temporary parking by the City of Jacksonville. The site is an entire City block, bordered to the north and south by Monroe Street and Adams Street, respectively; and bordered to the east and west by Julia Street and Pearl Street, respectively. Included in the development plan is 4,900 square feet of open and pedestrian space.
To the east of the site is a a parking deck associated with the Ed Ball building, noting that there is ground floor retail lining its frontages; to the west is the Duval County Courthouse; to the north the State Attorney’s Office, and to the south an office building.
