6. RP Funding Direct Mortgage Lender
Maitland-based RP Funding Direct Mortage Lender is in the process of opening a servicing center in the Prominence office park in Baymeadows. Operations at the Jacksonville office will include servicing, processing, underwriting and closing loans. Founded in 2008 with six employees, the company plans to hire as many as 175 employees for its Jacksonville office by the end of 2017. Vistakon, a division of Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, and manufacturer of Acuvue contact lenses, is in the middle of a $300 million, 100-job expansion of its Deerwood Park manufacturing complex. The jobs, with an average annual salary of $60,000 plus $30,000 in benefits would be filled by the end of 2017.
