<h1>3. Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center</h1> Estimated number of new jobs: 400

In 2015, modeled after MD Anderson Cancer Center’s outpatient clinics in Houston, Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center opened with about 240 employees, including more than 40 physicians with significant expertise in major oncology specialties, including breast, gynecological oncology, urology, gastrointestinal, thoracic, neurological oncology, colorectal, lung, prostate, melanoma and sarcoma, among others. In June 2016, the partnership between Baptist Health and MD Anderson Cancer Network broke ground on a $150-million, nine-story addition on a site bounded by I-95, San Marco Boulevard, Childrens Way/Nira Street and Palm Avenue. Planned for completion by mid-2018, Baptist MD Anderson anticipates the need for an additional 400 jobs over the next decade.
